Dr. Anthonia Ekpa, the newly appointed Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, holds a sterling academic record in the Arts and Social sciences having obtained a Ph.D. in English Language at the University of Ibadan, Master of Sciences, Governance and Development Management at the University of Birmingham, England, Masters in English Language, with Ph.D. grade (distinction) at the University of Ibadan and Bachelor in English and Literary Studies, from the University of Calabar.
Dr. Ekpa is a foremost Public Policy and Reform expert who had worked in the reforms of the Nigerian Public Service in various capacities, bringing with her, innovation, competence, expertise, and much-noted achievements.
Her interest and expertise in galvanizing stakeholders to support Nigeria’s Clean Mobility, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Green Bond Initiatives for Road Transport Improvement is widely recognized both here at home and by International Organisations including the UNEP, and the World Bank Group.
