The Nigeria-China relations has continued to forge greater path with the latest introduction of ‘made in Nigeria with China’ initiative aimed at boosting trade relations between both countries.
Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, Hounourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment while receiving donation of medical equipment from a delegation of the China General Chamber of Commerce in his office in Abuja disclosed that the Nigeria and Chinese governments are developing a ‘made in Nigeria with China’ Initiative aimed at boosting trade relations between the two continental giants.
The Minister also expressed gratitude for the donation made by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, saying “We are happy with what Chinese companies are doing in Nigeria, as our ministry is very supportive of Chinese industries in Nigeria and we will continue to support it”.
Mr. Zhang Wen Feng, Managing Director (MD) of China Harbour Engineering Company and Vice President of China General Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria (CGCCN), in his remarks expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the Nigerian government in providing enabling business environment for foreign investments in the country.
Mr. Feng believes that the efforts of the Federal Government will no doubt go a long way to attracting more foreign investments and trade partnership between Nigeria and China.
