H.E Zubairu Dada, Honourable Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs is an administrator par excellence and a public officer with a remarkable record of accomplishments, who has at several times been described as a committed disciplinarian, a reformer and a patriotic Nigerian.
He is a member of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) having obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in English and French Languages from Ahmadu Bello University as well as a Master’s in Law and Diplomacy from the University of Jos.
Until his Ministerial appointment in August 2019, he was Federal Com-missioner, Revenue Mobilisation and Fiscal Commission. Prior to this, he had served as the Director, National Orientation Agency (NOA), Director of Mobilisation in the defunct Mass Mobilisation for Self Reliance, Social Justice and Economic Recovery (MAMSER) and Permanent Secretary in the Civil Service where he began his career as an Information Officer in 1975.
As testament to his hard-work, dexterity and an excellent pedigree, Amb. Dada was appointed Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Poland from 1999 to 2003 and subsequently as Nigerian High Commissioner to the Republic of Mozambique with concurrent accreditation to Republics of Madagascar and Mauritius from 2004 to 2007.
